Advanced Surveillance Training Course
This course is for candidates who have been on our other surveillance courses, or have been engaged on surveillance investigations previously, and require additional knowledge and training in the use of vehicle trackers and covert surveillance recording equipment.
This course is intensive and rigorous, working mainly on practical issues surrounding vehicle tracking with lengthy concentrated periods of mobile surveillance.
The course will also cover the legal implications of using covert surveillance equipment and its impact on a private investigator.
Candidates will cover the following areas of surveillance on this course:
- Vehicle trackers - identifying a suitable tracker
- Vehicle trackers - deployment and recovery
- Vehicle trackers - their use in conjunction with mobile surveillance
- Covert surveillance equipment - cameras, voice recorders, anti- surveillance
- RIPA
Our Instructors
Our instructors are timed served ex police officers who have spent most
of their professional life seconded to dedicated surveillance units
/ national crime squads and qualified to provide instruction in the
use of surveiilance as approved by the Association of Chief Police Officers
(ACPO). As well as recognised qualifications our instructors bring a
wealth of experience in the use of surveillance in civiian circumstances.
Administration
All equipment and refreshments are supplied, along with stationary and
course notes.
The advanced surveillance course is for one day, starting at 08.30am and finishing at 6.00pm. A certificate is presented to each candidate on completion of the course.
This course has been designed to complement our introduction to surveillance course, and intermediate surveillance course, however if you have previous experience of being involved in a covert surveillance environment this course will be a valuable asset to your knowledge base.

Candidates should be physically fit and hold a full current UK driving licence.
