How much does it cost to hire a private
investigator?
Our prices are for the hire of our private detectives. All enquiries
are carried out by SGH & Associates detectives. Through consultation
with the client we will ascertain what will be the most cost effective
solution for dealing with each individual situation, and provide a strategy
to achieve the objectives set within a budget.
Our private detectives engaged in surveillance investigations are equipped
with specially adapted vehicles, personal radios and evidence recording
equipment including video camera, stills camera, audio devices and covert
body camera.
This equipment is used on all surveillance investiagtions and is included
in our prices.
Private detective hourly
rate: £40.00
Our hourly rate is for a minimum of 3 hours. The price includes written
reports, recorded evidence, both photographic and video where obtained.

Our daily rate is for 8 hours work and includes all evidence and reports.
If further hours are required to be worked on this day they will be
charged at £35.00 per hour.

This rate is for protracted investigations. If the investigation is
on-going we can provide a quote for future work taking into consideration
the type of work involved, personnel and resources.
Vehicle tracking daily rate:
Prices from £95.00 per day
Our car / vehicle tracking devices will monitor the vehicles movements

Neigbourhood Checks: from
£149.00
This includes a comprehensive report detailing reports from local police,
local authorities, surveillance in the local area carried out over daytime
and evening, interviews with local businesses, community groups and
more.
Bug Sweeping Services:
Prices from £250.00
Our bug sweep service can be carried out on houses, apartments, out
buildings and vehicles, along with commercial premises such as offices,
warehouses, garages. The service includes a technical sweep with specialist
equipment, and a physical search of the area.
Mileage
Mileage for the first 40 miles per day is free. Thereafter a charge
of 0.48p per mile is incurred.
Expenses
Expenses incurred such as hotels, entry charges to establishments, car
parking fees, public transport costs will be chargd to the client at
cost. All prices shown are subject to VAT (20%).
